Thanks for the pictures, Bob. My question is, how are these folks' backs after years of doing this kind of labor? I can't imagine bending over like that, year after year, without some kind of major back problems...KC

I'll have to ask about their backs. Since they weave only a few hours a day it might not be as bad as we'd think. You should see the indigenous guys and gals in the mountains that carry the heavy bags on their backs...now they are stooped.
That old lady ordered a hat 3 months ago and looked like this:
