I finally got around to seeing "Seabiscuit" and there was a rather glaring anacronism in it. At one point the rabid racetrack announcer played by Wiliam H. Macy calls Seabiscuit something like "the hottest thing on four legs since Hope and Crosby." But the film is set in 1938. Hope and Crosby didn't team until 1940. I guess it sounded better than Olsen and Johnson.
