L.L.Bean Leather Navy M422 style jacket

Got this L.L. Bean leather Navy M422-looking jacket at a high end thrift store last week.It appears to be adapted from the Navy M422,but has hand warmer slash pockets and an interior map pocket.
The cuffs & waistband are all wool.It has original paper tags attached to the label.Unworn but different from this years catalog models.Any idea when when it was made?
