I'm liking these. The greens are interesting! I like the line, except that yellow... Honestly, these will be the only reason I will go into Confederacy, can't stand the place otherwise.

Maybe someone can help me with the proper terminology.

I can wear the shoes in the top picture, but not in the second picture because the parts that have the lace holes are not connected in the top picture, but are in the bottom. The top pic shoes allow the shoe to conform to my foot somewhat. The shoes in the bottom pic make it necessary for my foot to be an exact fit for the shoe.

So, whats that part of the shoe called, that has the lace holes?

Meh...too expensive. The great thing about Florsheims is they look pretty good but are on the cheaper end of things. These aren't.

I can wear the shoes in the top picture, but not in the second pictureThe top shoe is a Blücher/Derby which features open lacing. The second shoe is an Oxford/Balmoral which features closed lacing. Gents with high insteps will have problems with fitting the latter, which is considered by many to be the dressier of the two.

Those are some good looking shoes.
Why does "exclusive" have to mean charging 2-3 times the normal price?
We're in a recession people!!

Great looking shoes, however, if I am going to spend that kind of dough I will buy another brand. :eusa_doh:
