I'm going to hazard a guess that this suit didn't go for much because the jacket's button stance is low. These days, the higher the button stance on vintage '30s-'40s DB jackets, the more desirable is the outfit.
Heck! I'd wear it, if it would fit me. Beggars can't be choosers when you wear a sz 46 suit in vintage.
