The timeless Burberry double breasted trench that never goes out of style.
I bought this directly from Burberry last year but it has remained unused
in a garment bag in a smoke/pet free home. It is in perfect condition.
It is their mid length cotton trench with partial classic check lining. The check accent
is also under the collar when it is worn up. It has one interior pocket
and comes with Burberry hanger.
Size is 42R or standard Large Made in the USA
As you probably know these normally retail for $1000-1200 and seldom
go on sale.
I am asking $575 OBO and will include free shipping within the U.S.
I accept paypal, certified check and money order.
I am located in the Chicago area if you wish to arrange a time to inspect it in person.
Please PM me with any questions

I need to clean and revitalize the leather bill on my navy Officer's hat. It has the usuall age related issues: wrinkles, a bubble and a little bit of crazing. My question is can I use Lexol or black shoe polish to bring the leather back and fix the bill up a bit? I know i can't really bring it back to 100% buti would like to bring it back some how.

Thanks,

Television history is replete with great shows that were cancelled far to soon for far too many bad reasons. Many of these are soooo good they become instant cult classics or spawn fan clubs that will live forever. What's the one cancellation that leaves you sleepless at night wondering where the story went and how the characters fared?

A part of my heart died with STTOS and I hadn't felt that way again until "Frefly" and more recently "The Event". But that's just network television. HBO has an entire boneyard devoted to great shows killed in their cribs... "Carnivale" comes to mind.

Hello,

I ran across the place and it seems to be a very active and knowledgeable forum community regarding the beloved Fedora hat. I have never owned any hats other than the occasional ball cap. Every time me and the wife are out and she sees a fedora short brim hat she wants me to try it on b/c she likes the way they look on me. I was going to buy a what I thought was a nice one online but its tough b/c my head is so dang small... Hahaha... I'm 5'6" weigh 156 lbs and typically dress in jeans with chuck Taylor shoes and a V neck tee or untucked button down. I'm no hipster just and average athletic build 36 yr old military professional.

It just so happens that one of my good childhood friends owns the oldest custom hand made hat company in Texas (Standard Hat Works) where the primarily make cowboy hats but can obviously make anything. So I talked to my buddy for a couple of weeks about making me one and he told me when I'm ready to head up there and he'd make me one.

Yesterday I arrived at his shop and he had a bunch of fedora that he sells but they are manufactured elsewhere and he told me to pick out a style that I like and he will start from there. He said he wanted to make me a black one out of 100x Pure Beaver the same material that he uses on his higher end custom cowboy hats that he hand makes. He got my correct sizing down and started process. He said he wanted to make it fit me correctly and not look goofy tall or big. So he asked how i liked to wear the hat low high etc... (I think i like it best low just right above top of ears). I would like to wear this hat as much as possible b/c I've never had a cool hat so I want to get it right. I'm moving to Coos Bay OR with my job next wk and I know that's a low key kind of place. Me and the wife don't really go out much other than dinner and a movie once a wk.

Questions:
1) how tall should the hat be?

2) brim length? We think we decided on a 2" does that sound right? Also I really like the back up and front down.

3) top shape? Kinda torn between a tear shape with two dimples or a standard top crease with two dimples?

4)band size and color?

There isn't a lot of clothing visible though there's a few hats at around three minutes. The really disturbing thing was the footage of England beating Australia at cricket! <<Shudder>>

*I bought this coat for around $200, but the moths got to the shoulder area while in storage. If you are interested in this coat, please PM me with an offer. I ship international

COAT SIZE WILL FIT A XS TO MEDIUM

Shoulders: 17" Inside shoulder seam measurement
Shoulders: 20" Outside shoulder to shoulder measurement
Bust: 34"; can tightly fit up to 36"
Sleeve: 25"
Waist: 32" Can tightly fit up to 34"
Top to Bottom: 43" Length

This jacket was not cleaned.

Condition is good with problems. As you can see, there is some wear to the Persian Lamb which happened in storage (very annoying, as I have all pieces of my wardrobe encased in suit bags). There is a large tear along the interior seam. Actual color is jet black.
