The book was written by Matt Bondurant, the grandson of one of the main characters and takes place in Virginia along the West Virginia and North Carolina borders. I enjoyed the book very much and would recomend it. I hope the movie is good.

'Lawless'

'Lawless' is a new prohibition-era moonshining film that I've seen in previews recently. I can't tell if I'm going to think its either too over-the-top, or a modern story disguised as a period piece (i'm suspicious of anything with Shia LeBeouf in it). What do you think?
