Big Apple Cap

I'm thinking about picking up a Big Apple cap in linen for summer.
Similar to this one:

Looks pretty big. Scroll down and click on the image of the hat worn.
Anybody wear one of these either in linen or wool?
Clearly, looks like a cap you'd wear if you were a caddy back in the 20's.

Yeah, I agree. There is an over-the-top feel to it. John Lennon wore a similar style, I believe. He could get away with it.

That is a super full cut newsboy so there is going to be a lot of drape too it. If you are not use to it. You may feel it is too much. As you will have attention payed too you do to the super full cut. I have one Hat People cap like this an I wear it when I feel that I can handle the attention.You might check out the Cap faction thread as that is where most of the discussion of newsboys is handled.

That cap might be big (love that!) but I wouldn't really trust the photo. If you look closely (or not so closely as it's pretty screaming obvious) you can see clearly that the cap has been photoshopped into the image. That photo is a fake.

Good grief how hard could it be to take a picture of someone wearing a cap without having to fake it?
