FS: M-Tech blue leather trucker styled MC jacket, sz. M

Throughout the years I've had many MC jackets and I like to believe I know what makes a good one.

This is one such jacket.

Bought it for myself not long ago, was really, really hyped about it, received it few days ago and of course, the jacket ended up being too small.
But since it's an insanely high quality piece and being made in the traditional jean jacket style, figured I'd give it a spin here, maybe it catches someone's interest. That's the only reason I'm listing it on TFL - I can't overstate how good this thing is, on par with anything I've seen from whatever brand we discuss here and so I'd love to see it end up in good hands. If it was two sizes bigger, I'd keep it forever. I mean, just check out how well it's made. Stitching and everything...

M-Tech is... Well, used to be a high-end Italian motorcycle apparel maker - proper motorcycle gear maker - and this one's from their limited / special / whatever edition. I've handled a lot of their racing jackets & suits but never seen one like this.

The jacket is made in Italy.

Leather is really nice. Not overly heavyweight but still what's to be expected of a motorcycle jacket. 'round 1.2mm or more. Not light by any definition; The jacket weighs 2kgs. Great texture, great shade of blue. Soft, not too shiny.

As for the cut, the jacket is, IMO, really perfectly proportioned; very slim fitting, short, long(er), curved sleeves, trim shoulders, trim around the waist, everything.

Like I said, this is a proper MC jacket and here are some of the features...

✦ Removable insulated full winter zip-out liner that goes all the way throughout the jacket, sleeves included. Lining ends up in storm cuffs at the sleeves
✦ Four pockets at the front, two snap-on, two zippered. Inside there are two pockets; one on the zip-out liner and one on the jacket lining.
✦ The jacket lining is perforated nylon, for warm weather. Typical motorcycle liner.
✦ Sleeve zippers with snaps.
✦ Snap down collar w/ throat latch snap.
✦ Wented underarms
✦ Waist regulators
✦ Removable armor
✦ etc.

Size is M or larger S. Tagged 44 but dunno what that stands for... I can put it on and zip it up. It's too small but not like EU 44 (or US 34) small. The jacket is around US 36, maybe a proper 38. Best be guided by the measurements below...

P2P: 21" / 54 cm
Waist: 18.5" / 47 cm
Shoulders: 19" / 48 cm
Sleeve length: 25" / 64 cm
Back length: 24.5" / 62 cm

If you're around 175 cm / 5.7 tall and 75 kg / 165 lbs in weight, it ought to be perfect.

Condition I won't even bring up. Photos should speak enough. Flawless. Some colour fading on the collar and the edges but that's it. Not a speck of anything anywhere on it.

All in all, this is 100% true motorcycle jacket which, in my opinion, is a whole step above most stuff I've seen. If you're after a trucker styled jacket to wear on your bike, I wholeheartedly recommend this one. If it fits, you honestly can't and won't do any better.

Asking what I believe is a very fair $150

That is a cool jacket!! I love the style....definitely can see the Italian flair/influence. They took a simple trucker jacket and turned in in to something super original. I am really in to jean jackets ( as we call the trucker jackets in the USA) and I can honestly say I have never seen anything like it. Good luck with the sale

Thank you! And yep, it is a really cool jacket and one that happens to be a serious piece of motorcycle equipment. :) Still sad it doesn't fit... Also, bump.

Too bad it is too small. Too small for me too. It is cool. Would have loved to see you dye that black. Teacore black with blue hints as it wears. Jut an idea I've been thinking about.

I can't even zip it up but even if I could, it'd be a shame to dye this jacket. The leather is gorgeous. It's hard to capture it but it's just really so nice, both to look and feel. Rich in colour, somehow natural blue, soft, substantial. . . Can't imagine Vicenza being any nicer than this.
But the make is where it's at. Stitching done with a white thread is the toughest to get right but this jacket is literally the best I've ever seen. Every stitch is flawless. I swear, if it was my size, it would've been the endgame jacket for me.
The priciest, topmost tier stuff out there could take a hint from this one. . .

Very Cool Ivan, I've certainly never seen one like this one. Really unique, but as you are well aware this would be too small for me. Good luck with finding this unique piece a grateful home! :)

Wow, I have just enough experience here to know when you say that this is “the best you have ever seen” that this is not just a sales pitch. To bad it’s too small.
Also I respect your opinion to leave the original color alone. Sometimes photos on my iPhone don’t represent an accurate capture.

Still playing with the idea of teacore black on top of blue. But Midnight Blue looks awfully tempting
Can’t waIt for the new Aero truckers to come on line!

A real beauty, You don’t see many if any jacket like this, the workmanship is very good, the colour to me looks like a baby blue. A real unique jacket, I really like the design, a motorcycle denim jacket made of leather, with all the extra features for cooler weather riding. The snaps are unusual, first time I’ve seen snap buttons looking like this. Good luck on the sale.

I'm really happy you guys see how good this thing is. If it was featured on a website with a .jp domain, it'd be a $2K piece. I swear, if anyone buys it and says I've been exaggerating, I'll give them all of my jackets for free. I'll even pay for the shipping!

It's a really, really great jacket.

Tweedydon, please be careful what you say, something may come out and bite you. Hehe.
I really like this jacket, but it’s a bit small, I think I can just about squeeze in, but my tummy may prevent me from zipping up.

Does the buyer's claim have to be truthful? ;)

Sucks for me if it isn't. XD

I can actually zip it up but it's just too tiny. But yea, this one doesn't forgive the tummy...

Bump.

Buy it and spend the rest of the week scratching your head, wondering why in the world would I ever sell something like this so cheap.

SUPER CHRISTMAS COMBO SPECIAL OFFER

Since it's Christmas and all that stuff, tell you what - I'll throw in a FREE Schott textile jacket as a gift with an M-tech! It's actually a very good casual biking jacket. Think of it as a nylon Highwayman. Which is what it pretty much is. Waterproof, windproof and warm. As new. Similar size as this M-tech, that's why I'm doing this combo. It's not S by any means. I can wear it. Zip it up. It's more like a proper M. Check out the measurements below. Made in USA!

P2P: 22.5"
Waist: 19.6"
Shoulders: 20"
Sleeves: 25.5"
Back: Ditto...

I don't know why but it actually fits smaller than these measurements. I think it's 'cause of the lining or something...

Bought it for a girlfriend, she hates it. Fine, here it goes. It's nice. I'd wear it if it was a size larger.
