Moonstone FedIV today. I don't typically wear a lot of grey or black, gotta find a way to wear this more.
Akubra's Moonstone Grey does have a hint of a bluish hue in it depending on lighting, but I think it's still neutral enough to wear with a variety of colors. That being said, I think it's a fine match to the shirt you're wearing in those photos.

Very rugged and stout looking Akubra Bob.

Nice cap Eric, great looking lunch too.

Nice snap Einars.

I like what you have done with that crown. This is how I would wear one of these types of hats. The fact that it is such a rare bird is also cool.

OMG! and other emoji looking things... Beautiful hat Greg.

Everything is beautiful about this hat Steve. The 'grab' pinch of that crown is special.

Super nice D. Is that finish on the fuzzy longhair side? The light really picks that up nicely.
More the fuzzy shorthair side, Red. Thanks!

Happy Friday.

So.............................
As I took these pictures under the Borsalino Nutria in mirtillo this morning, apparently I stepped in a giant pile of dog doo. Then, after a bit of shoe cleaning, I spilled coffee on myself as I started the drive to work.

A splendificatious start to the day, indeed! Things bode well.

Yippee.

Have a steaming pile free day.

Gorgeous Borsa, Matt. At least you're ending the week in a pile rather than beginning it.

Today, as the White Death approaches (rain, then sleet, ice and snow), I figured it needed a demon to beat it back. Demon Hanover, that is.

Great hat.I really dig that you think of your girl as your "daughter".We think alike.Seeing how I like my 8 "kids" more than people.

SUCH a beautiful felt, Daniele. Would a touch of steam re-activate any stiffeners that may be in the felt?
No Charlie, there is no needs of stem to shape the felt of this Flechet.
It is very soft and the only steam I use is to comb (counter clock) the hair as Steve explained to me in detail.
In most cases the felts finished as velour or with fur are very soft.

That reminds me of my Game Bird. Very nice!
Thanks Scotty. I saw the "Game Bird" only in pictures so I have no direct experience with this hat
Here in Europe hats with felt ribbon are more common and the finish of felts more varied than in US

Man... I love the Demon Hanover (The hat. I never met the horse).

Any cold weather, ice, and snow that you do not want may be shipped to me. Be careful out in it.

I seem to remember my Dad saying stepping in such a pile was good luck. Don't know it that is true, hopefully your day will pan out. Love the Nutria Hommie!
