    What to do in England

I would love to go outside of London (where we are staying) but with only a week to visit things...I will have to see if I can swing a new hat or clothes....Oh, and Pubs are going to be high on the list.

We are headed to sunny England at the end of March. Any tips as to where to go, what to do and where to eat? Thanks, Mike

    My Vintage Radio Collection

Just adopted this little guy yesterday. Need to sort some antenna issues out and maybe a cap or two but she functioned well at the store. I need to fire out why stupid phone does the picture thing wrong.

    Vintage refrigerator parts

Thanks Driver, the only real 'issue' I would have is the refrigerant in the Monitor Tops. But If I can grab one close by I may just do that.

    Vintage refrigerator parts

Lizzie, do you know anything about the late 30's Frigidaire's? We may go look at one this weekend. Says it works and outside of missing a shelf and drip tray it looks good.

Thank you Lizzie. There is a Monitor Top for sale close by, there are also some other makes from the late 30's or 50's.

    Vintage refrigerator parts

Hello, the wife and I are considering a second fridge for the holidays due to guest coming over. What parts are out there for 30-50's Fridges like shelves, gaskets etc.? I know the original 'freon' is poisonous if it leaks-one reason it will stay in the garage. Thanks, Mike

The wife scored big time at the antique store yesterday. Anyone know anything about the era rings-as in date range, maker etc.? The purse is obviously from the 20’s and is missing some tassels but is really in great shape.

Nope, it is pretty gummed up inside. I will try and free it up. Eventually she will Work just fine. I hope.

Studebakerdriver, you are brave. Did that in my Model A one year-not bad in the A but a T-wow.

Looking at purchasing the pair. So far what we have found is that they appear to be more for the S. African market. At least that is what we can see from pictures on the web. They will go well with our 1930’s couch we just got.

Does anyone recognize this design of a chair? I was told it was Greaves and Thomas. I am thinking it is post war. Thanks, Mike
