Still looking for a glass top hat that the Wolthausen hat factory in Brockville used as a promotion item? Anyone know when I can find this

Johan Wolthausen opened his first factory in Connecticut in the late 1800's. It was called the Hoydt Wolthausen Factory. I was use surprised to find the an old safe from the factory was for sale on e-bay last year. Still looking for a Brock hat. One of these days it will turn up.

I believe the company that Stetson Thanks for your welcome. Yes I did see this ad and in fact bought it. It was shipped today. There is something else I found while searching info on the Wolthausen. It is a glass top hat advertising the 'factory'. Unfortunately it was sold in February...

Thanks Bob - yes Johan Wolthausen was my grandfather. Can find lots of Stetsons but a Wolthausen Brock seems to be a bit more difficult to find - hey you never know where one might turn up.

The Canadian plant was the Wolthausen Hat Co in Brockville Ontario. I would love to have one of the Wolthausen hats if anyone knows where I might be able to get one.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get a hat made in the Wolthausen Factory.
