Thats odd, most I've seen on ebay get snapped up in a heartbeat, and I sold one last year for 500. If that's horrible resale value, then I'll take it.

Hi Jonathan, I appreciate the offer but I think I'm going to hold on to this one. Also, the sleeves are probably too short for you, as you say you need at least 26 inches, these are only 25.5. Just had it on the scale, looks to be at the 4 pound mark.

A quick look tells me that they are not the same style jacket. The first one looks a tanker jacket with the collar folded downwards, the second jacket could be anything really, but it has a tailored collar.

If cost is not an issue, and you wish to continue using the jacket as a daily wearer, go for the Eastman, 100%. The detail and workmanship is astounding. I've got one of the (now discontinued) goatskin Cable A-2s and its stunning.

As new ELC Irvin size 44extra long, impulse purchase late last year but didn't fit like I thought it would, worn maybe 3 times. Asking 550.00 pit to pit: 25.5 inches back legth (collar seam to bottom): 27 shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 21 shoulder seam to end of cuff: 28 inches

Eastman makes a "motoring" jacket which would pass for WW1 RFC pretty easily. Keep and eye on ebay too, occasionally some nice jackets come up for decent prices that would pass for RFC, some with, somewithout mouton collars.
