    Hey ladies, I need a little fabric advise. I´ve seen the most fabulous retro fabric today but it has 5 % spandex. I use an old sewing machine that doesn´t seem to offer any elastic stitches. Will there be problems with the seams if I use the plain boring stitch on 5 % spandex fabric?

    I don´t know about blouses made of fabric but I have knitting magazines dating to the early 50s that contain knitted blouses with the bra showing through. Maybe it wasn´t as untypical as we might think today?

    I love your new glasses, they suit you perfectly! I might need a new pair of glasses next year and have been thinking about a round shape for some time (mostly because the rectangular shape collides with my hats...) and looking at you I might give them a try :)
