On Knox hats is “Premier “ a style or model name or a quality of material rating? I see people posting about a Knox Premier but I also see listings for Knox Premier Fifth Ave fedoras too. I searched the School of Hard Knox thread but I didn’t find an answer so I came here.
I received my Stetson Pinnacle! I must say I really like this one. I have never had or handled a pure beaver hat before, the difference is very noticeable.
It’s a 73/4 but I will break it in. I have a mix of hats in both 73/4 and 77/8, I can wear either. I’m used to wearing the 73/4 size because anything larger is very hard to find.

I decided to go with the Stetson Pinnacle after all. It’s on sale and I’m able to get it for over a hundred dollars off the list price. So getting a pure beaver hat for around $255 was something I thought was a good choice.

Thanks for the comment, i may look at going custom. I may just go with the 73/4 and try to stretch it a bit. I’m not sure. But while I have my wife on board with me getting a hat that costs that much I need to decide quick!
