Can anyone tell me a bit more about this one? Got this one yesterday, the brim is straighter and a bit taller than the ones I have. Its very very stiff brim and crown. Only problem is the sweatband that is barely hanging on. Thanks!!!

How hard is it for a hatter to sew in a new sweatband on a vintage? I have a few that could use it. Seems it would be tough due to the stiffness.

How well do bowlers/derbies do in the rain? will they crack after too many times being soaked? wet, dry, wet, dry.. crack. of course I wouldn't put one next to heater to dry, but normal drying? Will mine get soft and floppy after? I always see em in the movies being rained on.. just wondering.
