Some time ago Aero stocked kangaroo and I was really eager to get it. Unfortunatelly, I have to pass it as hides were to small for jacket in my size. If it is of any help Johnson leathers and Thedi have acess to roo hide but there must be quite an upcharge?

Hi Asaha, Regarding the weight .... at size 48 my jacket made of heavy steerhide weighted over 3,5 kg. Size 40 should push the scale close to 3 kg. You should also take in mind that steer or horse leathers are heavier as goat (even in the same thicknesses). P.S.: 1.4 mm or 3,5 oz. thick...

I ordered twice from them. They are some kind slow regarding email responses and waiting time was longer as projected, nevertheless they are very kind and their boots are top notch so I highly recommend them.:)
