Surferbruce, that's a great fit. Did you find yours hits a little above the belt line also, leaving a gap?

I agree but my zipper is about an inch higher than that. Maybe I just need some jeans with a higher rise or it may not even be noticeable with my shirt untucked.

yeah, I understand the reason for the shortened zip and it's one of the reasons I was drawn to the brooks style. I'm looking to get a 2-way zip installed on my 530, for the same effect. It's just the way it looks that's gonna take some getting used to I guess. I appreciate the feedback guys...

thanks, Monitor, that's what I was hoping to hear. It really is perfect when sitting down and fits like a second skin, way better fit than the Schott 530 I just got a couple weeks back. Wish I'd found this forum sooner, I would have saved a lot of money, but probably just spent more.....hahaha

Just got one of these off Ebay in great condition. The fit is great everywhere except one thing. There is about a one inch gap between where the zipper ends and my belt/top of pants begins. Has anyone else had this issue or am I just being overly picky? Only briefly tried it on at lunch break...
