With the ambiguity regarding sizing, I asked the seller for the jacket's waist measurement. He replied that it's 40", which makes it too big for me. Perhaps it's about a size 40 - 42?

I like LVC's 1920s chinos, which are well proportioned (13" rise) and have some interesting details (including suspender buttons riveted through the waistband). At full retail, they're expensive, but can often be found on sale...
