Yep, particularly when it is a pricy custom job bought online from a FLounge approved/promoted hatter. Be even slightly critical of the hat or the inherently faulty process by which it was acquired and you are shouted down by a few vociferous hatters and their fanboys for being a troll.
And Volvo drivers were/are among the worst drivers on the road. I guess they figure they're bulletproof. Same with the SUV drivers. For the most part, driving safety is about the driver's skills (concentration, anticipation, reaction, etc) not the vehicle being driven.

I think get what you're saying. Something along the lines of authentic versus fanciefied repro. I see it for the jackets but that wouldn't really apply to the boots would it? I mean, they're both heritage brands, one being a work boot and the other a riding boot.
