Brooklands are having a sale of a few (51 to be exact :eeek:) '30s and '40s automobiles that were used in the upcoming Captain America film.

Prices are typically between £1,000 and £10,000, though one or two are above this.

My favourite are the Straight Eight Buick Sedanette and Coupé.

Readers in the UK might be interested to know that this Chevrolet Coupé is an original right hand drive car.

What about that Austin pickup.

It reminds me of the first time I saw a Hudson pickup ... it's like a pickup you'd drive while wearing a tuxedo!

Mercedes or Rolls Royce made a limited edition top of the line pickup in the 50s one year. Neiman-Marcus later bought 50 or 75 of them in the 70s or 80s and had them in their Christmas catalogue.
