FS Stetson 7X Clear Beaver OR Style

Hey guys,

Here's a rare chance to grab one of Mr. Stetson's finest products, the 7X Clear Beaver Quality in the Open Road style.

This one is from the late 60's, or maybe early 70's and is in very nice condition. As you can see in the photos, I changed the default cattleman crease to a fedora center crease, but the felt (100% natural undyed beaver) will allow you to shape the hat anyway you wish.

The hat is in pristine condition, both inside and out - just a slight fading of the gold stamping on the sweatband shows the hat has been worn.

The markings on the sweatband are xxxxxxx Clear Beaver Quality with the Stetson logo and Stetson Beaver 50 XXXXXXX at the front, indicating this was a $50 hat at the time it was made. Although clearly made in the Open Road style, there is no OR marking on the hat.

Marked as size 7, I find it fits my 22 3/8 head perfectly. As usual when I offer hats to friends at the lounge, I pass them along at good pricing - in this case $195.00 shipped in the Continental United States. Funny, of the hats I was selling I thought this one was by far the most desirable - certainly would be for me.

Anyway, if anyone would like to own one of the absolute classic Stetson models in fantastic condition, I'll lower the price to $180.00 as a little incentive. Includes shipping in Lower 48 States.
