Hi Brian,
If you look at the right column on the ebay article page, hit the button: "Frage stellen" . Translated: "Ask a question" or at the US ebay: "ask sller a question" . Just hit the button, ask your question, then select "alegemeine frage" or "general question about this object".
Hope this helps. I noticed the aution is closing in a few hours though...

Dear Brian. Thank you for your interes but I can´t tell you exact details because the item is already packed for sending. I know that the strap cant´t be used for the smaller one . The dimension is similar in hight but much smaller. Sorry that I don´t have more information. Greetings Jakob

Unfortunately you would also have to find a strap as well haha. Not sure what he means when he says that the dimensions are similar in height, but much smaller? Does he mean they have a similar ratio of h x w x l?

Man, just buy it!

In my mind, a vintage rucksack conjures a certain spirit of adventure. Why not follow the adventurous spirit and quit worrying about straps and whatnot? ;)

Haha except when you can't carry it around. Then there isn't much adventuring to be done.
Andy,
the bag i'm looking for is 14 h x 15 w x 9 d. So that would be the larger of the two. Thanks for your time though! I don't want to keep bothering you. If you happen on one, by all means please share, I'll see if I can find it. If i do I shall post it here!

Brian

I've been trying to find the small and large packs. If anyone can PM me any current links, then that would be greatly appreciated, thankyou! - Paddy.
