Question For The Ladies

Hello FL lounge ladies,

I hope you don't find me to forward to post in this section but I needed some help.

My 93-year-old neighbor has asked me to list some dress she made in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. Some of them (or 1 of them) she made in Germany pre-WWII. I wanted to see if there is a market for this type of clothing.

Also, another family friend has given me a box of 1920s women's clothes, from a great-aunt who was a dress maker in New York City during that time period. However, most of it has moth holes, or need some type of work. I'm wondering if there are people with an interest in these types of garments as well, and what types of repairs could be done to the clothes?

If there was any interest, I'd love to post some photos for feedback.

Hello, Your Etsy store is amazing. Regarding women's clothing, there absolutely is a market for this type of clothing and definitely there'll be people out there who will be interested in the garments that need repair. I would love to see some photos please

I think I need to list some pictures. The garments need repair and I typically haven't really experienced 1920s-era clothes. I was trying to learn if garments from that period typically come in excellent shape or if they typically require repairs and are sold "as-is."

While I'm open to selling them, I'm not trying to push a product via the forum. I would list them on my site if I think they should be sold.

So I'm coming here for a consultation to determine if they should even be listed.

I think it's quite acceptable to list the ladies garments in need of repair, as long as you clearly mark or point out the issues. I'm sure people wouldn't expect many garments from the 1920s to be immaculate. Looking forward to seeing them
