Need help identifying a couple of jewlery items.

Found this set of jewlery. I'm guessing it's from 1940's but would appreciate any help in identifying it. Did not take pictures of the back. However the earings have a screw devise to keep them in place. Thanks for any help.

I'm afraid I have no definitive answer, but they definitely look 40's. What a marvelous set!
