I'm a rye guy but I've been stuck on Templeton, which I believe is made in the same distillery. I have wanted to try Dad's Hat for a while though to see if there's much of a difference. The message is very cool though.

I was under the impression that these guys were distilling their own rye, not buying it from LDI.
Seems it is very young and stored in very small barrels in an attempt to speed up the maturing process.
I'd buy it - same as I bought the Stetson Bourbon (which is quite nice, but obviously not made by Stetson)
