Hi Phil, that Harrison is sweet! Care to post a few more pix, and maybe an inside shot?
Not to worry, S4C, I can see your bow tie better. Great color combo. Is that 20 black or blue?
Catching up on yesterday, great lids, guys! I like Trevi's greenie, Eric always posts great pics of great hats. Bob, you have some of the nicest late model straws, and you wear them well! David, you and your daughter dressed up the square with style. Moe's bunny, Harv in the Moonstone, Charlie-by-the-Lake - all great hats and great pics. Not having been a FL Member for that long, I don't recognize the gentleman in the photos with Alan, so I'll just say - two good lookin' guys in great lookin' hats.

Yesterday, I pulled out my Thrift Store Milan for some quick afternoon errands. I had to sew a new sweat in this one, because the original didn't survive being worn all day on July 4th. Thanks to FL Member Bond for another great sweat band. Now I have to do some work on the pug, which seems to want to keep shaking loose.

Cooler weather has visited SW Ohio this morning, and they are calling for a beautiful week of sunny weather, milder temps, and no rain. Even with the bright sunshine, though, I declared today Blue Monday and plopped my D'Aquino Mk II on my head for the day.

Looking forward to the day, looking forward to the week, and looking forward to seeing the Hat Parade!

I like both of these.

Nice hats, all. Esther, I need to find some ostrich hat bands to match my ostrich boots.

Can you find ostrich leather over there?
I just cut the bands myself. It's pretty easy actually.
Hey! That must be some cool boots!
The hubs used to have black python.

Bob, thank you !

LOL, I never thought to drink out of my hat! That would be a lot, even if it's just beer!

Last night, I threw some steaks on the grill and relaxed on the back patio with an adult beverage and my Adam Executive Pacesetter,

I liked it so much I wore it to work this morning, too!

I may have slept in it. I don't know. There was rum involved...

Tip top Tuesday to all! The threat of precipitation is hanging heavy in the sky this morning. It's an opportunity to don the Levine; a Cavanagh factory second, re-finished and boxed up by "Lucky" Levine (a luntzman?). The first clue that this is a Cav was the frayed ribbon on the back end of the bow...

EstherWeis, ostrich is available but expensive. Scraps are available but there might not be a single piece suitable for a hat band.

There are quite a few on the FL that wear cowboy boots. They can be seen here. http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?5882-Cowboy-Boots

You can include me in that group, I have a fairly large collection of cowboy/western boots. Most recent acquisition are a pair of Luchesse ostrich leg in matte chocolate.
Will be ordering a pair of Luchesse classics soon, just haven't decided which leather, leaning towards ostrich again.

I did have a friend spilling beer on my hat once :|

Hmm, it's the least expensive " exotic" leather I have lying around.
The pieces are pretty small, you have to keep an eye out for the pieces that start from the knee. Those are big enough for a ribbon.

I had to get out the trench, and with that comes the trench hat...

It's peachbloom with beige grosgrain
no clue why my phone picks it up pink...

Good day to all of you!
