Good morning all. Just a basic inquiry about this Company and their products. First off I am not the kind of person who will spend hundreds of dollars on my wardrobe items. With that being said I will spend what I feel is "reasonable" cash on what I feel is quality, maybe not acknowledged as the best but, still decent value. Does this make sense? So I have recently become aware of the THURSDAY BOOT COMPANY and they have aroused my curiosity a bit. They meet my criteria for what I want in that type boot without breaking my bank. Things like flaws in the leather , what kind/type don't bother me I am just looking for a stylish, decent boot I can wear that doesn't require a payment booklet. I am not GQ material ;) So
do any of you folks have opinions pro or con and experience with these? If so please lay it on me! Till next time, dressing smartly on a budget, ME!

Hi, WC,
Yes, their shoes started popping up all over my computer this week (as I write, one of their ads is hovering over this thread). They look very nice and the prices are certainly reasonable. The website is also nicely done and is pretty impressive in its details. According to the site, the company was started by a couple of guys from NY who want to provide a quality boot over the internet at affordable prices, and if that's the case more power to them. I notice that many of their styles are going for $199.00 a pair, which is exactly what some of Gustin's styles (which certain styles resemble) are selling for. Tempting, as they're certainly nice-looking boots and offer one bonus that I immediately look for: they can be resoled. So, who wants to go first?

Their expensive line is selling at about the same price as White's, Wesco, Oak Street Bootmakers. I am tempted though by the Horween natural they offer at USD199. Difficult to find that colour at that price although those are likely not the same as Horween CXL natural given their Horween CXL is selling for over USD400. If one is looking for black or brown Horween CXL, there is always the Thorogood at Highkickz not to mention the numerous Wolverine 1000 miles you can find on ebay.
