I'm waiting on an Akubra Balmoral and a Sunbody I ordered as a gift. The Sunbody's supposed to be here tomorrow and I'm hoping the Balmoral arrives this week too—although we're back in a cold snap so I'll be wearing my Snowy River on my daily walks until it warms up.

This lovely linen suit has a pale blue, pinstripe shirt, with white collar and cuffs to go with it, as well as blue and white correspondence shoes, fair isle socks and an original 1930's royal blue neck tie. What it doesn't have is a lid to cap it all off. There's a milliner that I have found, only a small manufacturer, but a skilful and talented hat maker all the same. The bespoke hat that's being made is a sky blue affair, based on The Stratoliner, that's about it. Am I excited? Of course, but because the suit isn't winter friendly I have the will power to wait. Even though I want to contact the hat maker almost daily.
Here's the suit, I will pose, all suited and booted when complete.

just got an email from Hats by the Hundred aka Australian Gear saying they mistakenly emailed me saying my size was in stock and that it won't be in stock until May....so I took the refund option

I've done plenty of waits ... I have no problem with that

I was on a waiting list to be notified when my size was restocked ... I got the email ... logged in ... saw it was in stock ... paid .. they took my money ... then oops ... nope May sorry

not cool with me ... but oh well

they lost a customer
