What's this...? And why does it look sooooooo fat...? And why is it sooooooo straight sided...? And why is there sooooooo little taper...? Is it an Alesandria? If so, it doesn't look like any I've seen...

I see a thin ribbon and a trolley button and a finished brim but the brim seems a bit smaller and the crown seems ALOT fatter...

112836 is the number of the hat, in the catalogue, more similar to the one you like, but I'm not sure....
The best way to know about the fat crown Borsalino is Besdor (Steven) he has more knowledge than mine about actual and old Borsalinos or inquire directly to Bencraft
The last possibility, for my side, is to try to ask directly in Borsalino

I noticed that full-crowned model floating seemingly in air, and then the thin-ribboned 112836 model in the catalog. Interesting that it's the same one. A new Alessandria, perhaps . . .? I'm waiting to hear.

I really think it's the Alessandria but maybe a particularly nice one they put on a big fat block. Special for the showroom floor...? #112836 is the cat # for the Alessandria but is that SPECIFIC hat IN THE PHOTO (in fact) an "Alessandria" ??? Thats the question.
