In the visit to Borsalino with Steve we had the gift of the new catalog for the next winter
I complete the work begun by Steve with showroom presentation with part of the catalog dedicated to the line "Categoria Superiore" for next autumn-winter.
You can begin to choose ..... saving starting from now:rolleyes:

Thanks for the great recording. The antiquities are such a rich contrast to the modern samples. The new catalog looks interesting.

What's this...? And why does it look sooooooo fat...? And why is it sooooooo straight sided...? And why is there sooooooo little taper...? Is it an Alesandria? If so, it doesn't look like any I've seen...

112836 is the number of the hat, in the catalogue, more similar to the one you like, but I'm not sure....
The best way to know about the fat crown Borsalino is Besdor (Steven) he has more knowledge than mine about actual and old Borsalinos ;) or inquire directly to Bencraft
The last possibility, for my side, is to try to ask directly in Borsalino

I noticed that full-crowned model floating seemingly in air, and then the thin-ribboned 112836 model in the catalog. Interesting that it's the same one. A new Alessandria, perhaps . . .? I'm waiting to hear.

I really think it's the Alessandria but maybe a particularly nice one they put on a big fat block. Special for the showroom floor...? #112836 is the cat # for the Alessandria but is that SPECIFIC hat IN THE PHOTO (in fact) an "Alessandria" ??? Thats the question.
