I'm very proud to say that I'm now also a member of the Panizza Paparazzi.

This is the "Cosenza" model in their so-called Supreme Quality. The crown is reasonably soft (but not as soft as my Borsa or Akubra), but the brim is the stiffest that I have ever come across, so this must have had special Treatment. The best bit is that I finally found a hat in size 54, so can wear it without packing or having sweatband modifications.

Thanks for that - I didn't know. Their website shows that they also make Hamilton hats (if I've understood correctly). Mutinelli also had some of these in stock (but not in my size)

Yes it appears that way. I don't know anything about Cappellificio Falcus Srl other that what is on their website. I will check with someone that might know something. I am especially interested to know if they make their own felt.

Ghost Rider you can improve directly in Ravenna with Roberto Manzoni your collection of vintage Panizza in your size (54 cm) or in 55 cm, they have more. Barbisio e Borsalino too!
You have to pay attention to your wallet

Yes vintage (old factory) Panniza is the way to go. There are amazing vintage hats available in small sizes (54-55cm). My friend said Falcus quality is ok for the price point. Doesn't think they make their own felt but can't say for sure.

Panizza Royal new production by Cappellificio Falcus

Size 59 cm US 7 3/8 with crown at 11 cm (4 21/64 inches) and brim at 6 cm. (2 2/4 inches)

Very soft blue fur felt finished with short hair

Excellent finishes with white linen

The shape is a very Italian-UE classic rendition

The brim is finished with double stitching on both sides

Panizza Ediston made in Ghiffa (old production)

Size cm. 60 (7 1/2 US) brim are 5 cm (1 32/32) amd crown (low point) is 11 cm (4 21/64 inches)

The felt is magnificient. Very soft fur felt finished with medium hair in heather

Ribbon is of the same material high 2 cm. (0 25/32 inches)

Lined in pale ecru satin with excellent sweatband

It is one of the last high end hat made by Panizza in Ghiffa

Panizza Paniflo in green. Very soft malleable felt. Sweatband is quite worn so it serves me as an all-weather hat. It's only a 56 so I stretched the heck out of it.

The brim are overwelted

The shape is a medium crown and very short brim
A fashion hat by Panizza to try to revitalize the interest of hats wearers....many years ago
