Oh, that is a really good one. You have to love the lighting-bolt mascot. It appears he doesn't, but it would be fantastic (and logically consistent - he is made out of a lightning bolt after all) if he was lit in neon as well.

Went by this old deli the other day - haven't been in the area in a long time (used to live nearby and would drop in occasionally back in the '80s and '90s). It was closed when I went by on Monday - hence the boring first two photos I took - but to give you a sense of it in its neon glory, I grab the third photo off the web. The place is a throwback, but to be honest, it didn't feel that clean (in truth, it looked and felt dirty), so I mainly bought packaged stuff. Haven't been in it in two decades probably.

Found this online the sign was restored a few years back I remember going there once while visiting relatives as a little kid before it was closed and condemned due to infestation and neglect. from what i read a theatre group there bought it out and is going to use It for plays here's the before shot from cinema treasures
