Hi All,
I am note sure this is the correct forum to post a review, please let me know if I am wrong...
I wanted to share with you my Hartmann review :
I received the Eastman leather Hartmann a few weeks ago. I started by ordering the size 38 which was obviously too small for me, even if I know it’s supposed to be a slim cut, I was barely able to close the razor blade buckle.

I ask then for a size 40, which is much more comfortable (I think a size 39 would have been just perfect)

The leather is very very soft, probably the softest leather I’ve ever touched. The color is not totally black (the size 38 was much darker) it’s more grey or anthracite some would say. There also is a kind of pattern on the leather, a bit like a bluejeans structure.

It’s a very comfortable jacket, very light, but warmer than I thought, thanks to the wool lining.

I'd have preferred the side buckle as the previous version of this jacket, as these go easily out, which is a bit annoying
Please see below some pictures of the beast :

This one was the size 38 first ordered, you can see the color is much darker :

Welcome to the Lounge! Very nice indeed; we don't see too many of these crop uo on TFL, but it's a great design. Do you know what hide it is? I think I read it was capeskin, but my memory may be off on that...

The Eric Hartmann jacket is simply stunning. I had the pleasure of trying a black one in a size 40 at American Classics in London (Went to visit @chamboid) and If it had been a brown one I would have bought it right there at that very moment. I just know that I will end up buying it for next autumn/winter even if that means selling other stuff.

The fit is very snug but very comfortable and the capeskin is just amazing, very soft and adapts to your body. I could fit on a 40 although I have to lose few Kg and belly, it was snug but I love the style, I don't see an Eric Hartmann being worn on the looser side, it feels wrong to me.

And yes, the side buckles can get loose quite easy, I don't know the reason behind the decission to change them.
