I was kind of thinking the Brooks one was a commission of some sort. Whether they are company colors or just done as gifts I have no idea. I like the plaid one too.

Thanks dh66. The plaid is pretty cool. And the lavender cotton knit one is a color that I think is completely lacking in my collection. I wish I could find a pheasant one as robust as the one you showed, but this one will do for now.

The name of that tie is called a Repp tie and it's well over 125 years old. They have been offering that particular pattern in there catalogue for that long. There were originally designed for private schools and fraternity clubs and functions. I'd have to look in my book to find the exact year but I think it's late 1800s sometime. I have most of them. There was 100s of different patterns. Some were custom made for the particular colors of the organization. The label puts it post 2001

New old stock uniform tie from the 1939 World's Fair. Just taken out of the plastic wrapper from T.M. Lewin and Sons long enough to have its picture taken. The logo, which is either lightly printed or has faded, reads "Good Will Ambassador, World's Fair, New York, 1939."

I have accumulated this collection of pre tied bowties over the last couple of weeks.

Nothing very vintage certainly, except in the sense that any bowtie is a vintage look. Any farmers in the area might like these though.

This Rivetz of Boston tie was $6. It ties quite short and is 3 3/4" wide. American woven silk.
