did you buy it in the sale page? Just surprised you did not know if it was lamb or goat. Do you like the fit? If you have doubts i would send it back for a remake cos it really looks too big for you and sleeves too long. Pockets seem so big too. Sorry, but i think better to return and get a better fitting jacket before you put too much wear on it.

Yes, got it from their sales page. Will they alter it? Is funny, when I have it on, it felt kind of tight. Maybe is the photo. Maybe I post more photos when I have a chance. Thanks for all your comment but hell, it just good to look at, even on a hanger.

I'd agree with the guys, it looks one size too big on you, and the sleeves look really huge. Same for the pockets. I must say I'm kind of surprised to see such big pockets on an Aero A-1.

Sorry..looks too big! Sleeves are not the slim profile I'd expect either! Mine fits 'trim' all around & wears like a leather sweater....

Personally, I'd go down a size. Is this your normal suit size? I've tried a 36 in the factory and it was so tight that I'd have to go up to the 38. The pockets look slightly odd too. Not sure if that's down to the size of the jacket in relation to you or what.

Okay, so, first, welcome to the lounge.

A jacket should fit how you like it.
Can you wear this? Definitely! This is a relaxed fit, it is how I wear all my flight jackets, I love that bomber jacket appearance. So from my point of view, it is just right and I congratulate you on a great jacket.
Is it how people wore it back then? Probably no, historically accurate would be probably be a tighter fit. But I don't think anyone from back these days would've cared if you had worn it like this. Why should anyone today?

Just enjoy it.

The problem with an out of the box jacket is that they often look ungainly even when they fit well. They just don't fit right until they have settled and been worn. I reserve my judgment for the most part on this one as a consequence. But those pockets are clearly very different to the usual tiny A1 pocket.

I would like to see the results after another photo taken from mid chest height with camera vertical. Looks like camera distortion here from being taken too low, too close and possibly at an oblique angle.

I think it looks too big on you but my preference is for a trim fit on leather jackets.

The thing with Aero's A1 is that the jacket can fit you in the neck but then the jacket will fit a bit bigger in other areas. At least that happened with mine, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to wear a 40 if I tried(This is a 42), must be the cut of the jacket or maybe the shape of our bodies.

I was not happy with the fit because it was baggy so I went the HWT route which I don't recommend because it can be risky. You can tell the difference on the fit and how the arms look more slim and better now, I can't layer because the arms won't allow for it but I never do anyway. I will wear an undershirt and a thick shirt and that's it under a leather jacket.

The shoulders are still a bit wide but that is perfect when wearing a motorbike because you need ease of movement on the shoulders and this is the jacket I use when I ride my Vespa around in winter.

I have to agree with what's been said. Though this is not a style I pursue and am no expert on how it "should" fit, I think one size down will still give you wearability and a more flattering fit.

Yes, the photo was taken from a lower angle. Will take more and share with all your experts. Thanks.

I do see others wearing bomber jackets having an inch or two over at the shoulder. I must say, it feels good even not been a perfect fit like a shirt. Not been a kid anymore so having a bit of space in case I gain some weight may not be all that bad also. Thanks.

Your jacket is fits well. How much it shrinks after HWT? Did it affect the leather after the process? Love the color.

I agree with AdeeC - the angle of the photograph does make the jacket look slightly strange. This picture is much better and If I had that jacket I would be happy with the fit. I also think the pockets are fine. This might sound odd but in the past I have found that the pocket flaps take a bit longer to break in than the rest of the jacket. They tend to lay flat and retain their shape so look out of place compared to the rest of the jacket. Once you have the wear that Willyto has on his A1, your jacket will look great.
