Nice find, ocmh!Another hat from Personality. This one was advertised as being 24" in circumference. Is tagged 7 1/4 and fits as a size 7 1/8. Generous brim at 3"

The beast from Mike Miller's Northwest Hats has arrived! I've given it a preliminary bash:
And here is the liner-less interior:
The colors of the felt and the belt-band are remarkably like that of its model, the ancient "Casablanca," and it fits perfectly as well.
I was thinking of naming it "The Colfax," after the main street of Denver -- Western and yet urban. Whaddaya think?

Black Hat, measures 58cm, Crown Open 6 inches, Brim 2 1/4 inches, 84 grams probably later 1930s. This is the fourth hat from my recent find. It doesn't have any labels or company marks. Not sure if it's Wool or Fur Felt (or blend). The felt is extremely light in weight with a very soft hand. It also has a very nice distressed leather sweatband which has buckled. The construction is primitive but the results are not.

Circa 2005 Stetson 4X from an estate sale. Similar to an Open Road. A little mothing under the brim, but should make for a good country hat.
