I like the gentleman on the left.

His hat & manner of dress makes me think he's an old veteran who has seen & survived things the others can't even imagine & don't appreciate. Especially the sleeping duffer on the right.

I agree , thought the same thing Jack . Looks like the old veterans of the war . I remember a photo of a couple , one from the North (looking nervous) and the South (looking relaxed) with style and grace . Great Pen and Ink .

I've been eyeballing some Fredrick Remington Prints (I have a few somewhere) , and they're outrageous , but I still like them .

Aiding A Comrade ... (For anyone that's every been tossed and got their foot hung in the Stirrup) ...

I love old saloons & taverns with a history. Someone a while back posted a vintage photograph or two of McSorley's Old Ale House in the East Village. Here are a couple of paintings done by the artist ~10 yrs apart.
