I get to the office an hour before anyone else and make a gallon of steel cut oatmeal in a stainless slow cooker. There are raisins, walnuts, almonds, yogurt, half & half and raw sugar for it. It's simmering now but still like wet birdseed.

Whole wheat biscuits, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, yogurt with blueberries, orange juice and coffee. Served on 1950s Stetson Marcrest Swiss Alpine dinnerware, Westwood El Gallo coffee mugs, Howard Johnson juice glasses, Griswold cast iron skillet, hand thrown pottery bowl and butter keeper.

Lily chose banana & walnut oatmeal (extra walnuts), and hot chocolate made with whole milk & 2x marshmallows. Celebrating last day of mid-winter break. Back to school/work tomorrow!

Workday breakfast is the same: lemon Luna bar, and tea. This morning's tea was lemon-ginger probiotic with fair trade organic Turbinado sugar - two teabags, so double strength.
