Thank you kind Sir, she replied. You are ahead of the game my friend, my name too is Robert, although I have never been a Bob, Mother was meticulous about it. Being born at the height of the actor, Robert Taylor's fame, having the same surname and Mother being a big fan, my name was never going to be anything else, unless the opposite gender popped out.
It's going to be an extremely busy day tomorrow, I shall get in from work at about five am, a good scrub up, clean the teeth and straight to bed, up at eleven, shower dress and on the road by eleven thirty, stop off at one of our favourite eateries for breakfast/lunch and then onto this gig.
I'm mixing the day wear, if it's raining I shall wear the Stetson, it's Caribou colour, goes nicely with the outfit I'm wearing. But hopefully, the sun will be out and I shall wear one of Esther's finest. By the way Esther, that off the shoulder look was all the rage back in the fifties, it was deemed shocking too, whipped up into a frenzy by our press. Reason was, on the bare shoulders was no bra strap, therefore the implication was, no bra. That was totally unacceptable, shocking even. There would be tut-tutting letters to the newspapers. Have you no morals woman?
