I bought an Akubra cattleman. Should be here Thursday. I need (want) something with a wider brim. That sun's getting brutal and the sweat in my Open road is about shot. I think the extra 1/2" will make a difference.

Just got this off the bay....I THINK it is from a fellow lounger.....seems I saw it on a post but lost the post.....missing the liner but accepted a reasonable offer accordingly. A Selentino with plenty of style.......LOVE the ribbon and bound edge. I have been pleased with my others....really surprised they sold it off......but good for ME!!

PS: Oh, and a while back I posted I had ordered, a special order Stetson Premier Whippet in Natural.....WELL....I DID get it....LOVED the color and hand of the felt, bound edge was nice....BUT....Ribbon was wrong color and a MESS......LOTS of loose threads....crappy cheap liner....not the Deluxe liner it was supposed to have ..AND... the finish was REALLY BAD at the brim break from the crown....rough, heavy tool lines, really a mess.....needless to say....it went back :-((( COULD have been an awesome hat....

it is one of those pieces that changes by the person it rides ... a chameleon if you will

on some skinny jean wearing hipster who wore it on the back of his head I would hate it ... but on a distinguished rugged looking cat like you this is going to look amazing
