LOVED it!

Danny Gottlieb, and Per and Tami Danielsson burned a cd together. Danny is a great drummer, too; played with Pat Metheny band previously.

I imagine we could go on and on with the music. It's soooooooooooooooo great.

Anthony, you can post all the bash vids you want of the Knox Forty. WHAT A HAT! The vid does show the quality of the felt. Color/ribbon/condition/liner/felt......just a big wow. Congrats on the lid sir. Next you need a comparative crease vid. A crease - off between a couple of the treasured pieces of your hat collection.

I really like this thread and would love to see it continue. So I made a series of videos of me doing a major overhaul of my Akubra Banjo Paterson. I removed the leather band due to mould, I shampooed (yes!) and rebashed it then added a new band (actually, a set of prayer beads from India).

Here are the links to the vids on YouTube. What I really wanted to show was how malleable this weathered Akubra heritage felt is. So the first video is a bit long with me showing different dents and how the felt takes them without needing any water or steam.

Video two talks about the cleaning process and video three shows me making the new dent in the freshly cleaned open crown.

I hope you enjoy and maybe this will help other amateurs just like many of these other videos have helped me.

I got this really nice Champ Featherweight, Kasmir Finish a short while back and it came with a c-crown. I changed it to a diamond crease and I like it better...
