I suppose I should give my hat its due, so more pictures herein. Forgive my "hat rack." My office is a converted exam room and has a sink in it. I somehow screwed up the little string thingy under the band and I'm not sure I put it back correctly (anyone know what that is?)

Wind cord , it normally fits at the bottom of the Ribbon , and kind of tucked under the Bow . It looks good . Nice Hat ! Welcome to The Lounge !

I guess I should add , the Button goes in the lapel button hole on your jacket or wherever , and keeps the Hat from flying off out of your reach . Being in San Fran you may need it .

As I continue to buck protocol and ignore the passing of Straw Hat Day, today it is my [new-to-me] early 1960s Byer-Rolnick era Resistol San Antonio in Silverbelly, fresh from a clean & block visit to Paris Hatters in, coincidentally, San Antonio. Ironically, the hat was originally sold in Kansas, but has now made it back home to Texas.

Sixty three degrees this morning and climbing all the way to 64 as the day progresses. Sounds like felt weather to me. The hat sold by Hut Spanke
