Yep, I am born and raised here and this has been the wettest spring in my memory.....even I, a native, have grown weary of the wet and with no end in sight we are pulling up stakes and heading south for the next two months.......enough is enough!Rain? In Vancouver? You Shirley jest!

UK's driest winter in 20 years. The wettest part of Britain is the area known as the Lake District, the average annual rainfall there is around 80 inches of rain per year. One of it's main tributaries, the river Derwent, is bone dry. We need some sort of reciprocal pipeline, we are about to get a hosepipe ban.
