Received this Akubra Cattleman Imperial grade 2nd hand yesterday. It doesn't appear to have been worn much but it did arrive with the brim a bit wonky. It was a bit too round for my head so I shoved my band block in it & the brim shaped up easily. I'll leave the band block in for a few days until I have some time to work with it. I plan on pushing out the crease but not sure yet what I will do with it. Maybe just a diamond crease. It could end up being another truck hat for me.

I have seen many references to the classifieds on the forum but have not been able to find them. I would appreciate it if any could point me in the right direction. I want to thin out my collection in order to diversify.

I have had my Bushman on here before, but have made some changes to the crease – after adding some rear dents, it is now more of a Gus/Diamond. Photos were taken in different lighting – color is Nullarbor Tan.

They also have the Adventurer in Moonstone. Though it looks like the Snowy River's smaller brother, the Stockman, is gone.

Just got this Akubra Down Under back from Art and added a custom hat band from a seller on Etsy! It's inspired by Ben Wade's hat from 3:10 to Yuma.

Go to the Forums (Top left of this page.) Scroll to the bottom. You will see a subsection of Goods and Services. The top forum is the Classified.

Hi all,
I've been lurking around the Lounge for a while and learning a lot. Since this is my first post I thought I'd celebrate the hat that's been twice around the world with me. We first hooked up in the Hattery in Katoomba a bit over three years ago and have been constant companions ever since. He used to be a Banjo Paterson but he's certainly something else altogether these days. I call him "O'Feral" because he used to stink so much whenever he got wet. I recently washed him with some baby shampoo and that helped quite a lot, but the name's stuck!

Welcome to the Lounge. Love the hat. Its even got its own earring. I love the look of a well worn, loved used hat. Unfortunately I baby mine far to much to get that look myself.
