Breakfast was a use-up-leftovers inspiration. Dutch baby made with vanilla and nutmeg, served with fresh blueberry compote. Scrambled eggs with Mexican cheese blend and leftover tri-tip steak. Hubby got a homemade cinnamon mocha, Lily had caramel hot chocolate, and I had a perfect cup of Harney & Sons Tower of London tea.

Lily and I shared a sausage, bacon, & American cheese omlette, crispy bacon, homemade biscuits with Marionberry preserves, cranberry juice, and a cup of Vanilla chai tea.

Hubby got spoiled for Father's Day. His grandma's biscuits with sausage gravy, bacon, espresso with a shot of whole milk, and Spicy V-8. He is a very happy dude right now.

Looks like heaven! My taste buds say yum, but my arteries say "please don't".

I had an unconventional breakfast this morning. Wasn't in the mood for anything traditional, so I make up a turkey pastrami and cheese sandwich.

Frittata with leftover tri-tip & smoked cheddar cheese, buttered toast, crispy bacon, fruit salad (nectarine, plum, blueberries), coffee for Hubby (with whole milk and cinnamon), Lady Gray tea with Turbinado sugar for me, water for Lily.

Almost always, two eggs in one form of prep or another. Sometimes bacon or turkey sausage as well. Other occasions, it might be plain Greek yogurt with some fruit and a handful of nuts (almonds or walnuts).

What I'd *prefer* is French toast, and a side of pastries...
