We've been married 13 years, and we both love vintage and history.

We prefer older classic movies. For music, almost all we listen to is old Texas & western swing, 1940s big band, or Frank Sinatra/Rat Pack. We used to do WWII reenacting, and we still collect a lot of 1930s-1950s "stuff" of all sorts. He doesn't wear vintage on a daily basis, but always dresses very nicely (even on weekends) - dress pants, button-down shirt, tie, sportcoat & pocket square, etc. I typically dress modern, but I would say I dress vintage (or vintage-inspired) probably 20% of the time. We both enjoy our little 1950s ranch house and working in our garden & hanging laundry on the clothesline. There are other aspects of vintage-style living that we embrace, but in the interest of keeping this reply short, I think it is safe to say we both feel as though we were born in the wrong era.

Yes. Complete overlap on some things (vintage appliances being significant) and some overlap on other things.

I wish my husband would dress more vintage, but the kids are hard on his clothes and he works from home. He rarely wears a t-shirt (preferring button downs with jeans). When we both worked in offices we both dressed in suits. I don't dress entirely vintage either. I dress more vintage inspired with a definite sheeplady-twist: I have my own style. (Today it's a plain t-shirt, circle skirt, and jean jacket with saddles/socks as I'm working from home... this is my "casual wear").

He lets me be in charge of home décor, so that's a mix of vintage and stuff I like. And kids stuff.

I don't dress the kids vintage, but they look presentable. My daughter likes skirts and dresses, and my son mostly wears polos or button downs with a collar with kakis. I am not strict about my kids clothes, and my daughter dresses herself, but I make sure she has nice clothes to choose from that meet her own emerging style, which focuses a lot of late on winged unicorns.

Going out to celebrate May 4th, 1980.
Sometimes formal, vintage or just casual.

Very much so. The more I show her, the more interested she becomes. Right now she is trying to learn some hairstyles to do when we attend Car Shows, but says that she will start looking at vintage clothing once she finds a style she really likes
