The Last Tycoon - Amazon

This was just released on Friday, it's an Anazon Original. Who has seen this and what are your thoughts?

I saw the pilot several months ago and thought good, not great, but has potential to gel. I thought we'd get to it this past weekend, but didn't - so will try again this upcoming one. I'll report back then.

Amazon has just announced cancelation of the series, after previously stating that there would be additional seasons. They also recently canceled their Zelda-and-Scott series Z: The Beginning of Everything, which had already been renewed and spent $7 million on preproduction for season 2.

So both of Amazon's Fitzgerald projects are dead, one season only. Too bad, I kind of liked Z... though I didn't make it past the pilot on The Last Tycoon, I didn't much care for it.
