Well, the spectators arrived and I'm a little disappointed. Here is a pic of the coding. The online thrift had it listed as a 13 and didn't show a pic. Unfortunately, my feet couldn't squeeze into an 11C without removing some toes.

I added some conditioner and polish and they don't look too bad.

My first ever pair of Quoddy's arrived yesterday. I ordered the Maine Driver. Below is a picture plus a list of all the selections I made for the details.

The shoes are incredible. The quality of the material and workmanship looks awesome. It took me a long time to pull the trigger as Quoddy is not shy in its pricing, but now I'm really glad I did.

(Been hoping for shoes older than the 80s for a while now). They're not nubuck like a lot of confirmed 50s walk-overs, which puts me in doubt. Anybody know the date?
