National Park Service uniform... 1946-1953, based on the uniform redesign from 1947 and the timeline of Pryor Stores, Inc. The Stetson No.1 quality campaign hat is 20 years earlier. A nice find on the 100th anniversary of the NPS.

Guess I'll revive this ol' thread.
Here's a 1950s Bamboo Weavers loop collar work shirt. Interestingly it features selvedge lines and the cotton is very light and breathable. Love the pockets--yesteryear's workwear was something else. Pics courtesy of seller, indian head Vintage.

Well we are all familiar with Key, OshKosh B'gosh, Big Smith Overalls, but have you ever heard of FITSU???
Fitsu & Dozfit were clothing manufacturing divisions of Keet & Rountree Dry Goods Co. They produced overalls, shirts and work clothing.
The company started up in October of 1919 on Commercial Street. The first address was 411 E. Commercial Street. The company started with 16 machines and by the following February they had grown to 115 machines. Most all of the employees were women.
The company officers were J. H. Rountree, president, George Winkleback, vice-president and George L. Campbell was the manager. The overalls & other clothing was sold in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
As they grew the would later relocate to they were located at 316 Commercial Street ~ current home of Pizza House since 1958
By 1925, the company was producing a quarter of a million pairs of overalls per year. The overalls were made with 220 Southern Denim. Specialty salesmen were hired to sell the products in Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Colorado and Iowa.
I search the newspapers and I could find the brands mentioned up to 1949-50.
