Boy, that is one sweet OR. It looks to be in fantastic shape. Did you have to do much restoration of was is nice from the shop?
Thanks Red. It is in good shape except for the numerous moth nibbles. I haven't done anything to it except steam the crown to stiffen it up a bit.

That's a stunner Michael
Thanks Liddleman. My collection of OR's was missing a silverbelly. Now it's complete. Until I find the next one on the cheap that is. Ha ha.

Karl, love the blues

this hat reminds me of a homburg/lords hat, but with a much softer hand to the felt. the backbow is the icing on the cake, though I'm opting for a coffee this AM

Thanks Justin. That is a stupendous hat/jacket pairing you have going on today. And feel free to direct any weather suitable for the jacket this way. I'm melting here..

Beautiful open road, coordinates nice with the jacket and shirt. Sharp!

Thanks D-Dog. The hat did manage to field a couple of nice comments today.

Thanks all,
Michael

This is the back bow that started it all! The resurgence of the style in the mid to late 50s was the hat for me today. Nice.

Trying out my Chapeau France Homburg for the first time today. I was lucky to snag this one from a fellow member! I am going to have to get used to a Homburg as I haven't worn them much and am not sure it totally suits me yet. View attachment 86627 View attachment 86628
Homburgs require a certain prowess and aire that you will soon get used to. Next, other colors and you will be wearing them almost daily.

Doesn't get much more brim-up than a homburg. This one's for you, Bob!

Looks nice, great lines.

Today, on the first day of autumn, a small trip to the "Bisazza Foundation" was held at Montecchio Maggiore for the inauguration of the Japanese photographer Araki exhibition

The felt has a soft and short hair finish.
It is very malleable and lightweight. New, never worn

Thanks for the likes on the Panizza in blue
Wonderful Daniele.

I took the liner out of this CD and actually like the hat so much better

Stunning Rodolfo. Light blue is on my list now.

Boxed up my handful of straws over a week ago when the temps dropped into the 60's. 90 today so the Gomez semi-colado came back out. Weather report and brim up brought to you by B^4Bob.

You should probably keep this one on the top of the pile, you never know when the sun will shine in February!
